I charge $25 per hour for all editing or we can negotiate a flat rate.  

Copy editing: 

• You can estimate that I will be able to copy edit approximately 1500 words per hour.  Therefore, a manuscript of 80,000 words will cost approximately $1325.

Line editing:

• For line editing, I will be able to copy edit approximately 1500 words per hour and so a manuscript of 80,000 words will cost approximately  $1325.

Structural/Substantive editing:

• Depending on the subject area and the content, a manuscript of 80,000 words will cost somewhere between $1250 and $2250.
